A London-based museum and arts gallery is seeking contemporary artworks inspired by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown as part of a new exhibition next year.
The Orleans House Gallery (pictured above) in Twickenham will host the exhibition, called Capability Now, between 13 February and 26 June 2016. It will feature a historical display with loans and works from its own collection, as well as the contemporary pieces.
Artists have the chance to see their work showcased in group exhibitions across three gallery spaces: Orleans and Stables Galleries in Twickenham, and the Riverside Gallery in Richmond. The deadline for submissions is 14 December.
Those interested are being asked to submit up to five works in any medium. Artworks must be submitted as high resolution jpeg files on a CD, with accompanying A4-sized photographic prints or good quality colour printouts.
Original artwork or emailed submissions will not be accepted.
More information about making a submission can be found on our events page.
