Share your #HeritageTreasures

Heritage Lottery Fund have launched a month-long photography competition that aims to celebrate the UK’s fantastic and diverse heritage. The competition was trending on twitter on the launch day with entries including images of the will of William Shakespeare and the Lindisfarne Gospels.
Open to all, including past, present and future HLF grantees, they’re asking everyone to share an image of their favourite heritage – their #HeritageTreasures - and tell us why they love it.
It could be a medieval castle; a historic park; a 1930s cinema; a painting or artefact or even one of the UK’s many native species such as the red squirrel or the bluebell.
The competition:  
To enter post your image on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter using #HeritageTreasures and like/follow HLF’s social media channels.

Prize: Top images will be shared online and they will also go on digital display at HLF head office. Entries closed on Wednesday 8 February 2017. See the winning entries here.
